A Singleplayer Horror Experience
I teamed up with an artist and close friend to create a first-person horror game.
The game is taking inspiration from indie titles such as; Slender Man, FNAF and Baldi's basics.
Core Mechanics
The flashlight was implemented with battery usage and recharging in mind in order to add to the player task loop.
A manager that calls and gives random tasks throughout the night to further add pressure to the player. The manager system also comes with a mini-map with a path indicating where the player needs to go before the timer runs out.
8 electrical levers that spawns in random spots every playthrough to add difficulty and less predictability. When all levers are pulled the game can be won by exiting the main door.
A ghost child roaming the facility with AI pathfinding that follows noise and the player if spotted.
